Farm Supervisor

As a Farm Supervisor, you will be caring for one of Singapore’s most advanced indoor farms. Your main goal will be to ensure that farm is in top condition and daily operations go according to plan.

What we Expect from you?
  • Responsible for planning ad achieving timely delivery of the production without compromising on the quality.
  • Maintain good working discipline, adopt the defined production system, good teamwork with other department members and lead by good example.
  • Require to involve and contribute to continual improvement projects (5S, lean, total quality control, etc.) related to production.
  • Must be able to take up new task and challenges besides the manufacturing core responsibility.
  • Take charge of Farm Technicians under your care.
  • Manage the production layout and facilities requirement.
  • Continually provide useful feedback and idea to the engineering team.
  • Develop training plan and enhance team skill matrix.
  • Keep Site manager informed of happenings on the ground.
Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in an indoor farm will be added advantage
  • Worked in farm operations for at least 3 years of which 2 years in leading the team of more than 3 people
  • Involvement in continual improvement activities: reduce operation cycle time, cost and improving quality / service level.
  • Aware of industrial health, safety and environment (HSE) training Singapore HSE rules and regulations
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of people and team development
  • Must be able to work 12hours night shift

General Manager

Lead, direct and control the activities of the Company so that it achieves its short and long-term financial and operating objectives as set by the overall corporate business plan. Establish an overall vision, direction and strategy; and approve policies and procedures for the lines of business.

What we Expect from you?
  • Oversee, monitor record and evaluate the business performance of the company against standards and targets in areas such as administration efficiency, cost control, sales revenue, profits and cashflow.
  • Direct the preparation and monitoring of budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in various aspects of the company, including administration, operations, sales & marketing and development.
  • Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team of senior management with responsibilities to ensure that the organisation achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Ensure adequate and consistent collection, storage and analysis of high quality production and operational data to improve operations.
  • Contribute to business planning at the management level to develop a sales and marketing strategy that is consistent with the company’s overall mission, vision, and long-term objectives.
  • Liaise with other senior executives across the organisation to ensure that sales and marketing strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with the overall corporate objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse market and customer trends and needs locally, regionally and globally.

Requirements
  • Degree/ Master in Engineering / Science / Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years’ working experience in the senior management role.
  • Experience from both local and international companies having had operational responsibility.
  • Experience from both local and international companies having had sales and marketing responsibilities.
  • Worked in companies undergoing rapid growth and/or significant change programmes.
  • Experience working in the agri-tech/agriculture industry operation will be added advantage.
  • Dealt with all levels of employees from workers to degree holders to senior management.
  • Good understanding of and following politics locally, regionally and globally.
  • Very good knowledge of teamwork theory and how to establish and develop teams and individuals
  • Commercially and financially very astute.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of business law.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Regional Project Sales Manager

The Regional Project Sales Manager will be responsible for driving project sales activities within assigned territory (South-East Asia and Middle East) by managing project sales team, performing project sales forecasts, ensuring project sales revenue and profit growth, reviewing market analysis and monitoring pricing objectives.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the desire and ability to identify business needs, areas of improvement and objectives through research and data backed decision making that will empower them to make recommendations on appropriate business initiatives. The position holder must clearly understand the needs of the customers and targets.

This role is responsible for the sale of Archisen’s commercial farming solutions and consultancy services in an Agritech industry and execute sales goals for the assigned region(s). Archisen’s vision is to provide everyone with the freshest, most nutritious and flavourful produce, by establishing the largest network of urban farms in Asia.

What we Expect from you?
  • Responsible for project sales activities in South-East Asia and Middle East, with primary focus on pitching and securing high-tech farm solutions and consultancy projects with investors, growers, property owners and food industry stakeholders in Asia, with a focus in Singapore, ASEAN and Middle East
  • Develop project sales plans and strategies to increase market penetration within region(s)
  • Analyse monthly sales outcomes and create reports for senior management
  • Oversee market research, project sales plans, and target setting
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of project sales members, ensuring team’s projects meet financial, quality, customer service, cost and profitability goals
  • Recruit, develop and train project sales representatives with clearly communicated sales and overall performance standards
  • Maintain and expand customer base by developing positive relationships and maintain good rapport with key customers as well as identify new customer opportunities

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Management / Business Administration / Project Management / Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project-related sales
  • Experienced in forecasting sales and building a customer base with investors, growers, and property owners
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interact at all levels internally as well as externally from different cultures/backgrounds
  • Ability to influence with excellent negotiation skills and problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to analyse market needs and convert them into commercial success

As a member of the engineering team, you will collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop systems that will revolutionise agriculture. Your task will be to design, evaluate, and improve the process flow of innovative systems developed to automate various farm operations. This is a highly creative role and you will be intimately involved with the engineers in all stages of product realisation from concept, design, and prototyping to building, testing and maintenance of these systems.

What we Expect from you?
  • System integration, testing and troubleshooting
  • Design and development of systems
  • Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications
  • Provide technical and engineering services for farm operations
  • Assist in providing technical support

Software Engineer Intern

This is an opportunity to be part of a unique software development team. We have a solid technology roadmap and a team of exceptional individuals. You will be given the opportunity to experiment while applying knowledge and skills taught in school in our lab and farms, while working directly with the managers, founders and collaborators.

What we Expect from you?
  • Assist in the development of websites/mobile applications
  • Designing page wireframes/layouts and custom graphics, formatting content, quality assurance testing, translating wireframes to web-apps to be used by our own staff
  • Improving current IoT infrastructure for our indoor farm
