General Manager (Johor Bahru)

Lead, direct and control the activities of the Company so that it achieves its short and long-term financial and operating objectives as set by the overall corporate business plan.
Establish an overall vision, direction and strategy; and approve policies and procedures for the lines of business.

What we Expect from you?
  • Oversee, monitor record and evaluate the business performance of the company against standards and targets in areas such as administration efficiency, cost control, sales revenue, profits and cashflow.
  • Direct the preparation and monitoring of budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in various aspects of the company, including administration, operations, sales & marketing and development.
  • Drive a culture of workplace safety and resolve staff non-compliances.
  • Ensure continual development of Operational Excellence of the production and operations team.
  • Define and monitor the business strategy for being able to deliver business performance
  • Ensure adequate and consistent collection, storage and analysis of high quality production and operational data to improve operations.
  • Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team of production and operations managers with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organisation achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Ensure continual development of Operational Excellence of the production and operations team.
Requirements
  • Degree / Master in Engineering / Science /Business or equivalent
  • Degree in Agriculture will be preferred
  • Very good knowledge of teamwork theory and how to establish and develop teams and individuals
  • Commercially and financially very astute
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of business law
  • Excellent, confident communicator, facilitation and presentations skills
  • Very good knowledge of and ability to use MS Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English

Project Sales Engineer

The Project Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving project sales activities within assigned territory.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the desire and ability to identify business needs, areas of improvement and objectives through research and data backed decision making that will empower them to make recommendations on appropriate business initiatives. The position holder must clearly understand the needs of the customers and targets.

This role is responsible for the sale of Archisen’s commercial farming solutions and consultancy services in an Agritech industry and execute sales goals for the assigned region(s). Archisen’s vision is to provide everyone with the freshest, most nutritious and flavourful produce, by establishing the largest network of urban farms in Asia.

What we Expect from you?
  • Responsible for project sales activities in both local and overseas, with primary focus on pitching and securing high-tech farm solutions and consultancy projects with investors, growers, property owners and food industry stakeholders in Asia, with a focus in Singapore, ASEAN and Middle East
  • Work closely with the Regional Project Sales Manager to develop project sales plans and strategies to increase market penetration within region(s)
  • Analyse monthly sales outcomes and create reports for senior management
  • Maintain and expand customer base by developing positive relationships and maintain good rapport with key customers as well as identify new customer opportunities
  • Work with partners to drive revenues and business opportunities
  • Present project quotations and be proficient in the project tender process
  • Perform site selections and inspections, attend meetings and address any customer issues, including management of stakeholders and ensuring that farming solutions are properly implemented
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Management / Business Administration / Project Management / Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project-related sales
  • Strong knowledge of the Agritech industry and a professional network in Singapore, South-East Asia and the Middle East would be an added advantage
  • Strong track record of success in B2B project sales in Agritech industry would be an added advantage
  • Experienced in forecasting sales and building a customer base with investors, growers, and property owners
  • Trained in and experience utilizing consultative selling methodology to create, manage and execute a winning international sales strategy
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interact at all levels internally as well as externally from different cultures/backgrounds
  • Ability to influence with excellent negotiation skills and problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to analyse market needs and convert them into commercial success
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with others, self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision

Regional Project Sales Manager

The Regional Project Sales Manager will be responsible for driving project sales activities within assigned territory (South-East Asia and Middle East) by managing project sales team, performing project sales forecasts, ensuring project sales revenue and profit growth, reviewing market analysis and monitoring pricing objectives.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the desire and ability to identify business needs, areas of improvement and objectives through research and data backed decision making that will empower them to make recommendations on appropriate business initiatives. The position holder must clearly understand the needs of the customers and targets.
